Myofascial Release Therapy
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a gentle pressure applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.
Nonsurgical spinal decompression is a type of motorized traction that may help relieve back pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. That changes the force and position of the spine. This change takes pressure off the spinal disks, which are gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine, by creating negative pressure in the disc and help relieve back pain.
Soft Tissue Mobilization
The technique uses specially-designed stainless steel instruments, along with appropriate therapeutic exercise, to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. The instruments also are used diagnostically to follow the kinetic chain, to locate and treat the cause of the symptom as well as the specific area of pain.
Cold Laser Therapy
Cold Laser Therapy or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and is thought to help accelerate the healing process. It can be used on patients who suffer from a variety of acute and chronic conditions in order to help eliminate pain, swelling, reduce spasms and increase functionality.
Spinal manipulation is a technique that treats back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal conditions via the application of force to the spinal joints, with the idea being that such treatment of dysfunctional areas in the spine can restore the spine’s structural integrity, reduce pain and initiate the body’s natural healing processes.
This technique consists of 5-10 balloon insertions into the six nasal passages. A finger is tied to a blood pressure bulb to inflate the cot. This is a unique treatment protocol that helps to improve your concussion, migraines, TMJ, PTSD, vertigo, whiplash syndrome, and other pains that no one can figure out.
Therapeutic exercise is the systematic performance or execution of planned physical movements or activities intended to enable the patient or client to remediate or prevent impairments of body functions and structures, enhance activities and participation, reduce risk, optimize overall health, and enhance fitness and well-being.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), also known as physiatry or rehabilitation medicine, aims to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.
Post Facilitation Stretch
Post facilitation stretch (PFS) is a therapeutic approach utilized during proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in which the patient begins the stretch midway between the fully relaxed and fully stretched position and uses maximum level of effort to exert a strong isometric contraction.

I’ve been to chiropractors before, but none of them are nearly as thorough as Dr.Reza. He takes the time to listen to your areas of concerns. He performs a thorough examination literally from head to toe and explains in great detail of what is going on with your body. He is very informative. I’m so glad I found a chiropractor that can take away all the aches and pains. Thank you Dr. Reza.
Amazing staff...very educated and resourceful. The methods they use to correct your ailments instead of just treating them is unmatched by far. They map out a plan with you and execute with precision plus comfort. It always makes my day to visit with Kelly, Paul and my Doc Nathan!! Thanks to everyone at Metropolitan...you will not be disappointed...trust me it's life changing!!!
MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW!!! I am extremely thankful to have found Dr. Reza. I went in initially barely able to walk on my own or stand up straight due to sciatica issues combined with what he determined to be a slipped disc. I work out a lot and was not paying attention to my body's cries for help until it was really bad. After just 4 visits, I feel brand new. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
Dr. Reza is the best.Since the quarantine started in March, just like everyone else, I stayed home, not much movement which caused a lot of tension and pain in my neck, back, and my hips. I went to Dr. Reza and he was able to spot the cause for my pain and treat it. Now I don’t have any pain. Dr. Reza has been very flexible with me, I call to make an appointment and if he is not too busy, I go in right away, same day. Highly recommended.
Dr. E is amazing. I am not sure where I would be if it was not for him and his amazing team. I am able to have him correct my spine, receive awesome workout sessions with trainers, and improve my range of motion with a physical therapist. Kelly, his assistant is always so helpful and Dr. E does amazing work. I’m so grateful for him and recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Eftekhar, with only ~12 sessions, has drastically reduced my chronic migraines I’ve had since 2015. During our first appointment he described what he does as providing a mechanical solution to a mechanical problem. He is professional and highly effective, I cannot rave about him enough-he’s an awesome doctor!
